BUILD! People. Places. Policy. One Day Conference for Charitable & Faith-based OrganizationsThursday, March 6, 2008 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Kennedy-King College Great Hall 740 W. 63rd Street*Free Parking on Union Street – North of 63rd Street *

A very wise woman once stated: “We cannot
expect until we inspect.”  How often do we consider this?  Until the time is taken to consistently sharpen our skills and make self-assessments, we cause ourselves a disservice--as well as others.
The President of the
new Kennedy-King College (KKC), in cooperation with Teamwork Englewood, the International Sunday School Broadcast program and the KKC Continuing Education Department invites you to Kennedy King College Thursday, March 6 for what promises to be one of the most dynamic conferences of 2008--BUILD! People, Places, Policy.  Learn best practices and innovative ideas in building economically sustainable organizations as you become a greater asset to your clientele and communities served.
BUILD! will be filled with inspiring national and local Charitable Foundation and Faith-Based Organization leaders. Breakfast and luncheon sessions will present an engaging and interactive forum in which attendees may gain a practicable understanding and techniques to build effective, enduring organizations.  Conference panelists who have led and cultivated thriving renowned organizations will share insights in: Legal Considerations for Not-For-Profits, Succession Planning, Leadership, Resource Development, Budgeting and the ubiquitous Digital Divide.
While good leaders learn from everyone, the March 6
BUILD! Conference presents the perfect opportunity for Leaders to learn from other Leaders.  Join your peers and give the future leaders of your organization the opportunity to attend this power-packed day with highly successful men and women.  Receive the tools necessary to inspect your Charitable or Faith-Based organization towards creating and implementing improved plans of action from which you might realistically expect and achieve greater results.
The
BUILD! Conference fee is only $75 per person--a reasonable sum to pay to build a legacy. Space is limited so early registration is strongly recommended.  For your convenience a conference brochure with mail-in registration is enclosed or you may register on-line today at kennedyking.ccc.edu/buildconference.html. Please call the Department of Continuing Education at 773-602-5042 with any questions.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you
March 6 at the BUILD! People, Places Policy. Conference.
